OUR NEW WALNUT STREET SITE GETS FEATURED IN THE LOCAL MEDIA

August 2nd was a productive day for Gardening the Community. Organized by our gifted intern Maya and our trusted PD Anne, over 50 volunteers from across the Valley came out to begin the revitalization of our newly purchased parcel on Walnut Street.

We were able to get significant news coverage for the days event, including interviews with some of our youth the day before from our NBC affiliate TV-22. Here are the links to the stories, as well as some pictures of the days events:
