Thanks to all of your incredible generosity, we not only met our original fundraising goal and then surpassed it--but also hit our second goal and then surpassed that too!
This winter, with your support, we raised $54,437, exceeding our wildest dreams. Thanks to you, we are starting 2017 out on strong footing, able to sustain our winter work while planning big moves for our Walnut St Farm this coming spring. We know that this outpouring of generosity comes because you understand the importance of our food justice, racial equity and youth development work. We promise to continue building on our past work with dedication, integrity and passion. We know that we couldn't do it without you -- many thanks!
Now more than ever GTC needs your support for our work to build a more equitable community for all our neighbors, one where everyone feels safe and has what they need for a hopeful and healthy life. We hope that you’ll make a year end contribution to sustain our work into 2017.
Your contribution will help us raise $50,000 by the end of December to support our youth leadership development and food justice organizing work over the winter. All gifts will be doubled by matching funds from a generous friend of GTC.
This is an important moment for GTC as we stretch to grow into our new Walnut St. Farm, support a new crew of youth coming into leadership and build a strong cross cultural community.
Please join us!
Your gift will help cover:
“I am so grateful for what GTC has done for me. Now it is my turn to use the tools I have learned to give back to the community of Mason Square/Six Corners, as well as the whole city of Springfield. I want to help build a united community.”
-Brandon Robinson, GTC Youth Leader
