News from the Farm: Roadwork, Closure, and Photos!

7/31/2025

Good morning everyone!
The heat has FINALLY broken and brought with it some much needed rain and a respite for our staff and GTC youth. Even in the face of the oppressive temperatures this week the work has not stopped, just ended a bit earlier than normal to avoid the afternoon heat. With that being said, there are a few things happening here at 200 Walnut Street that we wanted to alert our friends and customers to:

-There is DPW work of some kind taking place on James Street (where the entrance to our parking lot is), with an unclear expected date of completion, so access to the parking lot may be spotty or nonexistent. We're hoping this is done sooner rather than later, and are exploring alternative parking locations for the interim.

-The farm store will be CLOSED this Saturday, but we will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, 8/5.

-We just updated the website with a bunch of great photos from the GTC Summer Youth Program. If you have ever wondered what the participants are up to during the course of the program, click on the 'Youth' tab in the navigation bar, then select 'Summer 2025 Photos'. We will add more pictures as the season progresses.
