 We are celebrating an abundant harvest and the opening of our new farm stand! Thanks to your support, we have grown over 4,000 pounds of healthy food this year and opened our beautiful Community Farm Stand.. Twenty five youth worked hard through the heat and the rain to grow delicious, pesticide-free fruits and vegetables for their neighbors. We purchased thousands more pounds from local farms and sold it at affordable prices, all while building the leadership of our youth. Help us continue to grow our impact over the winter months. Your gift will support our Winter Leadership Institute, where youth learn more about sustainable farming, racial justice, and food sovereignty, increase their knowledge of the vegetables we grow, and become more confident leaders. We will also operate our Community Farm Store for two days/week, as we know people's need for good food doesn't end in the winter! ALL GIFTS MADE BY DECEMBER 31 WILL BE MATCHED BY GENEROUS FRIENDS OF GTC! We have raised $40,000 in matching pledges - all we need is your gift to access these generous challenge grants!
