Interested in joining GTC's youth program?
Middle & High School-aged youth only

Gardening the Community is a food justice organization engaged in youth development, urban agriculture and sustainable living to build healthy and equitable communities. Youth participate in the GTC program throughout the four seasons, and are prominent in every aspect of growing food on our farm, running our farm store and pop-up markets, and assisting the Springfield Food Policy Council with food distribution.  Additionally, youth learn about the history of the food system and engage in advocacy to increase access to healthy food work in our city, across the Sate and nationally. To learn more about how to apply for GTC's Youth Program applications may be picked up at the GTC Farm Store at 200 Walnut Street, Springfield MA,  Tuesday through Friday 10am-6pm and Saturday 9am-3pm
